Insurance is often treated like a transaction, but my background taught me that anything worth building requires a craftsman’s touch. My family immigrated from Bogotá, Colombia, where they built a life from the ground up through a furniture making business. I watched them obsess over every wood grain and every brushstroke as they created beautiful, hand-painted pieces. That attention to detail and consistency in work carried over to me. I don’t just find a plan for my clients. I build a strategy that fits.


A Strategic Mindset
When I’m not at my desk, I’m usually engaging the side of my brain that thrives on patience and practice. Whether I’m practicing the violin, navigating a chess match, or finding the right hold while rock climbing, the lesson is the same: you have to take your time to learn and think several moves ahead. I carry that over to my consultations. I enjoy learning who my clients are so that I can create strategies specifically suited for them.
Staying Balanced
I’m a firm believer that moving the body is the key to longevity and maintaining high energy for the long seasons. Between the gym and the climbing wall, staying active is what balances me after being at my desk for so long. It keeps me focused so that when we sit down to talk, you’re getting my absolute best.
The Village Philosophy
Most importantly, I am a “Girl Dad.” Raising my daughter has definitely made me a softer person, but she also helps me stay in the moment by seeing how fast things change. I understand the pressures that parents and grandparents feel when it comes to family. I know firsthand that raising a child requires a village, and I view my role as a part of that support system for the families I serve.


On Saturdays, you’ll likely find us at Armature Works. She’s a busy body who loves to be outside to explore the world. Seeing her grow reminds me why it’s so important to protect the peace of mind that families in our community have worked so hard to earn.
Why I’m an Independent Health and Life Insurance Agent
Early in my life, my father brought me to the United States when I was just over a year old. Like many hardworking Americans, he spent decades building a life, working with his hands, contributing to hospitals and communities across Florida.
Later, when he retired and transitioned onto Medicare, the experience was nothing like the peace he had earned. Conflicting advice, confusing notices, and unanswered calls quickly replaced clarity.
That experience showed me how easily people can be left to figure out the system on their own. I decided to become the antidote to that frustration. By choosing to be an independent agent rather than a corporate employee, I’m able to focus on the person, not the policy, guiding families like mine through these complex decisions with the honesty they deserve.

I became licensed to ensure my father (and others like him) fully understood their options and felt confident in their decisions.
As I gained experience in the industry, I saw first hand how agency structures can shape how advice is delivered.
